Smile if or when happy

Reasons to be happy

There may be many reasons we smile

Many we laugh till we cry

Happiness is a state we live

It remains with us, like fragrance

Even when shadows of sorrow covers

our hopes gets tired and lost

Happiness renews our effort

to fight back to defeat

the reason for melancholy

I’ve heard that if you practice smiling in front of the mirror every day for a week or two you can trick your brain into thinking that you are happy. I have no idea if this is true or not. Doesn’t hurt to try though. Love the poem! πŸ™‚

We must smile, to admire n feel how nice a smile can adorn our face πŸ™‚ Brain, seldom gets tricked but ..we do lie to our self..before we fake it for others. Thank you for your comment.

Indeed “Happiness is a state we live”. Although happiness can be expressed emotionally, it is more than a feeling. It is the state of our heart, our spirit. Happiness is a choice, a decision. You make up your mind to be happy and stay happy. Your happiness no longer depends on people or events. That means no matter the circumstances you face you would response with joy. You would think joyfully, talk joyfully and act joyfully. It takes practise and discipline though. I made up my mind to be happy. Thanks for sharing.

When someone offends me..I get sad..feel bad..then some other person shows warmth..bring back my smile..
There is no the world or city..but right now..I am surviving..till I get hit or fall dead..I will keep gratitude as my armor..

Interesting. You are right that there is no peace in the world. However, Jesus Christ is my peace. From the moment i believed and received Him into my life He became my peace. He can give you peace too, and heal you, if you believe and receive Him.

Shame on you… For not writing that very much πŸ˜‰ can you think of some poem lines for my remember happiness today questions?

I’m planning to have some illustrations for my Remember Happiness Today posts for next week’s posts and for the following week, I want to write short poems to add to my posts, then I could add some music. Any more ideas? I want to make it even better every week πŸ™‚

there are many lines..they represent actions in time..those on hands are fate within reach..those on forehead are frowns and are the ones that tuck your lips..yes those lines remembered smiles..and reasons to feel alive !

I like that very much….I remember at about 8 I would look in the mirror to practise tightening my face to hide the lines on my forehead…ahaha…but I hot lots around my mouth n eyes from smiling n laughing. πŸ˜€

I’ m prime property! An old boyfrirnd was almost blind without his glasses. He was a pianist composer etc..he would trace every inch of my face without his glasses and say I would age beautifully… That was 16 yrs ago… I think he’s lines are collecting in the right places AND they tell a story. πŸ˜€
